THE STORY
The project of a 3 bedroom house was created for the needs of the authors' family, as a project of a functionally rational building with a covered terrace and a carport for 2 cars.
Authors' professional experience and the 2022-2024 market trends made it a very well-insulated (almost zero loss), modular wood-frame house with solar panels whose annual energy production is sufficient not only for heating, hot water and ventilation (energy efficiency class A), but also for lighting, household appliances and recharging electric cars (primary energy class A+ and positive energy balance).
Limited labour resources in Latvia, together with the need of fast (4 months) construction of a ready-to-move-in, fully furnished and equipped house, stimulated all rooms interior and cabinet furniture design simplicity and unification.
Post factum analysis showed the almost complete absence of such richly equipped houses in the non-luxury private houses market and gave a birth to ZE HOME L3 (zero energy home).
ZE HOME L3 unification, lead to ZE HOME L2, L1 and S3 creation. That's how it all started.
THE GOAL
The goal is not only to offer you a modern, energy-efficient, furnished and equipped house, with extremely low utility costs per year, but also to free you from making lots of different decisions, communicating, coordinating and controlling lots of parties involved in the construction, furnishing and equipping of the house, from all that usually takes a lot of your time, nerves and energy.

ULDIS AND MARINA JURSONS
both are civil and industrial construction engineers who graduated from Riga Technical University and have been devoting themselves to the construction industry for more than 27 years now. In addition, Uldis has obtained civil engineer and construction supervisor certificates, while Marina an interior designer's diploma. They own and represent WP CONSTRUCTION LTD and ZE HOME LTD (founded specifically for this project).
BAIBA BEKERE
is experienced certified architect and expert in architectural construction projects. In addition, she is a member of the Latvian union of architects and member of the board of the Riga Technical University ALUMNI association. Baiba is the owner and the board member of 2B ARHITEKT LTD.
GATIS ZOGLA
has been a certified energy auditor and an independent expert in the field of building energy efficiency since 2004. He is a doctor of sciences and chairman of the board of the Association of Energy Auditors of Latvia. Gatis is the chief energy auditor of EKODOMA LTD.
